With excellent thermal control and a 12 step gradient, the MultiGene is ideal for both precise thermal cycling and protocol development. Programming the unit is intuitive with alphanumeric characters and a graphical representation of protocols. Programming features such as successive increases or decreases in time or temperature are easily entered. Run times are calculated at the start of the program and shown on the large, backlit LCD. The MultiGene's block accepts 96 x 0.2 ml tubes or one 96 well plate. The sliding, adjustable temperature heated lid allows for oil free cycling.
