2008 Applications

We are now extending the WhiteSci Travel Award Scheme into 2008 and are offering ten awards of R2750 each. If you are a full time post-graduate student studying for an MSc or PhD in cellular or molecular sciences and plan to attend a scientific conference or meeting before March 2009, please consider applying!

In order to be considered for the award we will require a letter of motivation from the applicant, outlining the work to be presented and the reason assistance with travel is required. In addition we require a letter of motivation from the supervisor supporting the application.

We encourage applications from a diversity of backgrounds and institutions! The awards will be made in two rounds. To be considered for an award in the first round, please send your application to reach us by no later than 30th April 2008. The first round of awards will be made in May 2008. Applications for the second round should be submitted by 30th of September for award in October 2007.
