The Quantabio qScript cDNA Synthesis Kit is a sensitive, easy-to-use solution for first-strand cDNA synthesis, designed for two-step reverse transcription quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) and conventional RT-PCR workflows.

The qScript cDNA Synthesis Kit uses an engineered M-MLV reverse transcriptase combined with a recombinant ribonuclease inhibitor protein to deliver robust, consistent and unbiased first-strand synthesis across a wide range of RNA input amounts. The novel qScript Reaction Mix supplies all necessary components for cDNA synthesis except enzyme and RNA template, and the optimised primer blend ensures efficient priming from diverse RNA populations. The simplified reaction procedure is ideally suited to high-throughput gene expression studies using real-time RT-qPCR.
For gene-specific priming (GSP) or two-step RT-PCR of RNA targets exceeding 1 kb in length, the qScript Flex cDNA Kit is recommended as an alternative.
