Lonza ViaLight® Plus Cell Proliferation and Cytotoxicity BioAssay Kit is an ATP bioluminescence assay for the quantification of cell proliferation, cell viability, and cytotoxicity. The assay measures intracellular ATP as a direct indicator of metabolically active, viable cells. Unlike ToxiLight®, ViaLight® Plus requires cell lysis prior to measurement, providing a direct measure of total intracellular ATP from the cell population. The bioluminescence signal is linear over a wide range of cell numbers, making ViaLight® Plus suitable for both proliferation and cytotoxicity studies.
