Lonza FlashGel® Cassettes are disposable, pre-cast agarose gel cassettes for use with the FlashGel® System for rapid, safe DNA or RNA electrophoresis. Each cassette contains pre-cast agarose gel pre-equilibrated in running buffer, with wells ready for direct sample loading. FlashGel® cassettes enable results to be visualised in real time under blue LED transillumination within 3–5 minutes of loading, without the need for staining, destaining, or UV exposure. Cassettes are available in DNA formats (1.2% and 2.2% agarose) and RNA formats (1.2% agarose) in single-tier and double-tier configurations.
