The VIASURE Herpes virus 1, Herpes virus 2 & Varicella Zoster Virus Real Time PCR Detection Kit is a qualitative real-time PCR assay developed by Certest Biotec for the detection of Herpes Simplex Virus 1 (HSV-1), Herpes Simplex Virus 2 (HSV-2), and Varicella Zoster Virus (VZV) in clinical specimens. The kit is designed for the molecular diagnosis of oral and genital herpes (HSV-1/2) and chickenpox/shingles (VZV); differentiation is essential for appropriate antiviral therapy and infection control.
