The NEST Vacuum Filtration System is mainly applied in the isolation and purification of large volume samples in tissue culture medium and biological fluid. The system consists of a membrane diaphragm, and a receiving bottle connected to a transparent graduated polystyrene filter by a connector. With the pressure differential conducted by the vacuum pump, the Vacuum Filtration System can filtrate the tissue culture medium and other lab fluid solutions in large volumes even up to several litres. The filtrated samples can be directly gathered in aseptic storage bottles.

  • High flow rates and throughput
  • Precise graduation on the bottle wall
  • Membrane materials include: PES, PVDF, CA, MCE
  • Volume: 250ml, 500ml and 1000ml
  • Low protein binding
  • Gamma-ray sterilization
  • Individually packaged
  • The design of the hose connector is adaptable to various hose diameters
  • Lightweight and firm outer wall structure, easy to grasp

Membrane types:

PES:

  • Low protein adsorption, high flow rate, wide PH range, high chemical compatibility, good heat resistance
  • For general culture media and aqueous solutions, polar or middle-polar solvents, neutral aqueous solutions

PVDF:

  • Wide practicability, good oxidation resistance and heat resistance
  • May be used for aqueous solutions and most solvents, including strong non-polar solvents. Ideal for preparations of HPLC and GC

MCE:

  • Strong chemical compatibility and low protein adsorption, the optimum pH range is 3-6
  • Used for particle analysis of general culture media and aqueous solutions. HPLC sample preparation

CA:

  • High flow rate and heat stability as well as very low adsorption, stable within the range of pH 4-8
  • It may resist most alcohols and oils, and is suitable for sterling filtration of aqueous solutions, buffers, serum and culture media, as well as filtration of the moving phase of HPLCD
