The SeraCare AccuPlex™ SARS-CoV-2 Reference Material Kit is a full-process molecular quality control material for SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR assays targeting CDC and WHO consensus sequences. Built on SeraCare's AccuPlex™ technology, it uses non-infectious, replication-deficient recombinant virus particles with a genuine viral protein coat — making them fully extractable and processable identically to true patient samples throughout the entire workflow from extraction to detection.
Includes positive material (CDC/WHO consensus sequences) and negative control (human RNase P gene). The product is designed to measure day-to-day assay performance, providing both positive and negative reference solutions. Regulatory status: Research Use Only (RUO).
