The Covaris microTUBE AFA Fiber Screw-Cap is the industry-standard AFA consumable for DNA and RNA shearing on Covaris focused-ultrasonicators, processing sample volumes up to 130 µL. The integrated AFA Fiber focuses acoustic energy within the sample for highly uniform, reproducible shearing to target fragment sizes from 100 bp to 5 kb.
