Capricorn Scientific HEKventure Feeds are chemically defined supplements which are used together with HEKventure S Medium for enhanced fed-batch expression of proteins and viruses in stable HEK293 suspension cultures.
Capricorn Scientific HEKventure product line was developed to maximize stable expression in HEK293 suspension cultures. It consists of the HEKventure S Medium and two feeding supplements: HEKventure Feed A and Feed B. The HEKventure product line was developed by florabio AS, our expert partner in culture media development and optimization.
HEKventure Feed A is a chemically defined, animal-component-free and hydrolysate-free supplement to boost fed-batch processes in stable HEK293 expression systems. The HEKventure S system was developed for production of viruses (e.g., adenovirus, lentivirus) and recombinant proteins (e.g., antibodies, Fc-fusion proteins) achieving cell densities of up to 3 × 107 cells/ml.
