Capricorn Scientific HEKventure S is a chemically defined medium for expression of proteins and viruses in stable HEK293 suspension cultures. Combined with HEKventure Feed A and Feed B, HEKventure S efficiently boosts expression in fed-batch systems.
Capricorn Scientific HEKventure S product line was developed to maximize stable expression in HEK293 suspension cultures. It consists of the HEKventure S Medium and two feeding supplements: HEKventure Feed A and Feed B. The HEKventure product line was developed by florabio AS, our expert partner in culture media development and optimization.
HEKventure S is a chemically defined, animal component-free and hydrolysate-free medium for stable HEK293 cell lines in suspension. It was developed for maximal production of viruses (e.g., adenovirus, lentivirus) and recombinant proteins (e.g., antibodies, Fc-fusion proteins).
Combined with HEKventure Feed A and Feed B it is suitable for fed-batch processes to reach
the full potential of the expression system with cell densities of up to 3 × 107 cells/ml and to increase protein yield.
