Axygen® MultiRack Maxymum Recovery® filter tips feature a hydrophobic tip surface that reduces surface tension and improves accuracy, precision and complete sample release — minimising wastage of precious samples such as low-concentration DNA, select proteins and viscous liquids (e.g. glycerin, Triton-X™).
This extended-length (XT), filtered tip has a maximum volume capacity of 1250 µL (1000 µL nominal barrel size). The robotically inserted, nonpyrogenic polyethylene filter is free of DNA inhibitors and leachable additives, and creates a physical aerosol barrier that blocks cross-contamination between samples — making these tips well suited to DNA amplification (PCR) and other contamination-sensitive molecular biology workflows.
Supplied racked and sterile (e-beam irradiated) in easy-load, stackable, colour-coded deck inserts compatible with the Axygen MultiRack tip system and most major pipettor brands, in packs of 8 racks x 96 tips.
