Seraseq® FFPE Wild-Type DNA/RNA Reference Material. FFPE negative process control with no variants at detectable AFs. Supports dual DNA/RNA NGS assay validation
The Seraseq® FFPE Wild-Type DNA/RNA Reference Material is a formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) negative control reference material containing no known pathogenic variants at detectable allele frequencies. Formulated with both DNA and RNA targets, it serves as a wild-type process control for FFPE-based NGS solid tumour assays, challenging the complete workflow from tissue sectioning and nucleic acid extraction through library preparation, sequencing, and variant calling.
Key features:
- FFPE format — mimics clinical tumour tissue specimens throughout the full extraction workflow
- Contains both DNA and RNA targets for dual-analyte assay validation
- Wild-type (no variants at detectable AFs) — ideal negative process control
- Compatible with a broad range of solid tumour NGS panels
